Josh Hamilton Update

      Unfortunately, Josh Hamilton was released by the Texas Rangers yesterday.  Some people are saying that his career might be over.  This is very sad news for any MLB fan.

      It is no secret that Josh Hamilton had his demons, as we all do.  But he had an amazing story of overcoming drug abuse and becoming one of the most feared players in all of baseball.  Nobody can forget his incredible showing at the Home Run Derby in 2008 at Yankee Stadium.  Josh was an incredible player to watch and all one can hope for now is that he is content with his family life.  God bless him and his family.

      I leave you with this memory of Josh going 5 - 5 with 4 home runs against the Baltimore Orioles.  An absolute monster power hitter who will be dearly missed if he actually does leave the league.
